Organization of the i2S group

i2S is organized around three major divisions:

Digitization of written cultural heritage

  • i2S DigiBook designs, manufactures and markets a complete range of scanners for the digitization of ancient books, bound documents and archives, associated with powerful software suites for automatic image restoration. The i2S Digbook division, created in 2000, has gradually made itself the world leader in digital scanners for bound documents.

Monitoring of industrial production

  • i2S LineScan designs, manufactures and installs turnkey Surface Inspection systems. i2S’s LineScan systems, based on FLAWSCAN proprietary technology, continuously monitor the manufacturing of continuous web or sheet materials such as paper, non-woven products, plastic films and glass in real time, 24 hours a day. FLAWSCAN  technology allows defects on the order of tens of millimeters to be detected on surfaces several meters wide that can be advancing at more than 1000 meters per minute.

Distribution and Development of application solutions with high added value

An institutional partner of major companies such as Sony, Dalsa, and Matrox, whose products it distributes and integrates into functional subassemblies, i2S Vision benefits from its position of leader on the French market, which makes it a strategic partner for international equipment manufacturers or major technological groups who recognize it for its high expertise in image acquisition and processing technologies and for the quality of its service.
